The CST Education Policy


  1. To mould young persons intellectually competent, morally upright, socially committed and spiritually inspired citizens at the service of India and the world of today and tomorrow by imparting holistic and personalized education.

General Rules


  1. The school hours are from 9.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. daily. The students should reach the school premises at least 15 minutes before the commencement of the school.
  2. No student can leave the school premises during the school hours without Principal’s permission.
  3. Pupil coming late in the school loses the benefit of the attendance for the day concerned. He/She will not be allowed to enter his/her class without the permission of the Principal. If late for more than 5 times after due warning he/she will not be allowed to attend the class.
  4. If the required percentage of attendance is not put in, the pupil will not be allowed to appear for the annual examination.
  5. It is the responsibility of parents to see that their children are not prone to taking leave. Leave will be granted only in exceptional cases and prior sanction must be obtained unless in an emergency or on medical grounds.
  6. Application for leave up to 2 days should be submitted to the respective class teachers, while that for more than 2 days should be addressed to the Principal. If a student is continuously absent for more that 6 days without authorization, his/her name will be struck off from the rolls.
  7. Application for leave must be signed by parents/guardians and must ordinarily be sent in advance for sanction. Application on medical grounds should be countersigned by an appropriate medical authority.
  8. Any damage to the property of the school will have to be made good.
  9. No child suffering from contagious diseases will be allowed to attend the class. Withdrawal of the children from classes during school time is not permitted. Parents, who want to take their children to hospital, etc. are advised not to send their children to school for a session or half day alone.
  10. In any non-scholastic competitions when a student is selected to represent the school he/she is expected to be present for it.
  11. After the inter-school competition the parents are requested to pick their wards from the venue or from the school.
  12. For any inter school competitions entrance fees and other fees should be borne by the students.
  13. The school reserves the right to dismiss the students whose diligence or progress in studies is consistently unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to other students or whose parents show little interest in the progress of their wards.
  14. The receipts issued by the school office for the payment of the school fees, bus fees, etc., should be produced whenever asked for.
  15. Students should label the things they bring to the school with marks by which they can be identified if they are lost. The school authorities will not be responsible for the loss of the articles brought by students.



Rules of conduct


  1. Student should attend school in the prescribed uniform.
  2. The school uniform should be full, clean and well pressed. Students who are not smartly dressed may be sent home.
  3. Students should assemble class-wise for the morning assembly.
  4. Every student must behave respectfully towards the members of the staff.
  5. Every student shall have with him/her the text books and note books required for the class he/she attends. No newspapers, periodicals, comics, etc. other than school books shall be brought to the school.
  6. Home assignments shall be done regularly and carefully and submitted at the stipulated time.
  7. The school premises and surroundings should be kept neat and tidy. Unwanted paper bits should be put into waste paper baskets. It is the duty of the students to keep their class rooms absolutely clean.
  8. Student’s behaviour should be gentlemanly at all times and in all places both inside and outside the school. No shouting or whistling is permitted.
  9. No student shall enter or leave the class room after the lesson has begun without the permission of the teacher.
  10. No student shall disturb another class at work on the flimsy plea of borrowing a pen, pencil or book from his/her friend.
  11. Jewellery must not be worn in the school. Girls are advised to wear studs only.
  12. Staff and students are expected to speak English in the class rooms, school premises, school bus and at bus stops.
  13. Students should have respect to school property, they should not scratch or damage school furniture, write or draw on the walls. Any damage to school property will have to be made good.
  14. Students shall not borrow, lend or exchange money or articles.
  15. Playing in class rooms and on corridors are strictly prohibited.
  16. Parents are required to see that their children come to school with proper haircut and hairstyle.
  17. When passing along corridors during class hours students shall keep silence. Whenever they have to move to the laboratory, computer room, auditorium, library, etc. they should do so in an orderly manner and by not disturbing the neighbouring classes.
  18. Pupils should realize that they are responsible to the authorities of the school not only for their conduct in school but also for their general behaviour in and outside.
  19. Pupils should be polite and courteous and greet their teachers and elders on his/her first meeting in the school premises.
  20. When the teacher enters the classroom, the pupils shall rise and remain standing till they are asked to sit or till the teacher takes his/her seat.
  21. Pupils should cherish the sweet memories of their happy school life with love and gratitude and speak well of the school.
  22. Pupils should abjure cheating and stealing.
  23. All school business must be transacted at the school office during the prescribed working hours.
  24. Students are prohibited from bringing mobile phones or any electronics gadgets unless they get special permission from the Principal.
  25. Every student must get acquainted with the rules and regulations of the school given in this handbook besides the timely instructions given by the authorities through public announcements or by notices issued by the Principal.



Library Rules


  1. The school maintains a well equipped library and a reference room.
  2. Silence is to be maintained in the library at all times.
  3. The school library is opened on working days only.
  4. Library books can be issued and returned only during the library period of the class and not in any other teaching period.
  5. Each student is given a library card and can have one book at a time.
  6. Exchange of library card is not permitted.
  7. Library card must be kept carefully.
  8. Books may be kept for two weeks and must be returned on the date given. If needed renewal for a third week will be granted.
  9. Students who keep books longer than the time permitted will have to pay ` 5/- per day. The amount is to be paid at the school office counter.
  10. Books in the reference session may not be taken out of the library.
  11. Never damage a library book in any way. The damage on books should be brought to the notice of the librarian.
  12. All books taken from the library should be returned two weeks before the annual examination.



Parental Co-Operation


  1. The school expects that parents will supervise the studies of their children and will take keen interest in their day to day needs like uniform, haircut, notebooks, etc.
  2. Please visit the school and meet the Principal and teachers on days set apart for parent-teacher meetings to know the progress of your wards.
  3. The co-operation of parents is indispensable for better performance of their wards.
  4. Exemption for pupils from attending assembly, physical training and games will only be granted on medical grounds.
  5. Parents must encourage their children to take part in the co-curricular and extra-curricular activities of the school.
  6. All efforts made by the teachers with regard to student’s training can bear fruit, only if parents co-operate. Hence they are requested to visit the school to meet the teachers on days scheduled for the purpose.
  7. They can acquaint themselves with attendance, progress and conduct of their children/wards.
  8. Parents are not allowed to meet teachers when they are in their classes. Parents desirous of speaking to teachers about the progress of their children may meet teachers by prior appointment and after taking permission from the Principal.
  9. Entrusting a pupil to the school implies that parents agree to stand by the rules and regulations of the school and that they should see that children also abide by the school regulations.
  10. Please check your child’s diary and note the home work given and see that it is done in time.
  11. Daily reports about students, if any, shall be conveyed through the hand book. Parents are expected to sign these reports on the same day. If not duly signed the handbook, the ward will not be allowed to attend the class.
  12. Parents shall prepare a time-table for home study with the help of the class teacher.
  13. No private tuition by the teachers of the school is entertained.
  14. If parents have any problems regarding their wards academics, behaviour or punishments, they are requested to bring them to the notice of the principal immediately.
  15. Parents may meet the Principal for any information or for making any complaints. No complaints should be made direct to the class teacher.
  16. Parents will ensure that:
    1. Fees are paid on scheduled dates.
    2. Regularly attending parents’ meeting.
    3. Children attend school in the proper uniform and with the required books.
    4. Children get enough time at home for lessons and assignments.
    5. Children fill in the fees column with the Receipt No. and date.
  17. No alteration shall be made in the prescribed uniform pattern.
